XCEL MEDIA LIMITED
is a wholly Nigerian-owned limited liability company incorporated on
23rd May 2002 to carry on the business of media and
related services.
As a media company, XCEL MEDIA LIMITED, desires to carry out
it’s traditional role of watch-dogging the society by informing,
educating and entertaining her publics through her print and
electronic arm. However, owing to the complexity of requirements for
granting of Federal Government’s license for the operation of
electronic media, ie, Radio and Television license, the company is
yet to commence operation in this direction.
For the print arm, the company has successfully commenced operations
with the setting up of XCEL International magazine since year 2000.
XCEL International Magazine, an all-gloss, general purpose celebrity
magazine, was set up with the mission to celebrate Africa and her
nationals who excel in their various field of Endeavour as a way of
pursuing her vision of touching the psyche of the average African,
and totally repositioning our black continent in proper perspective
in the eye of the globe.
The company which also has as part of her services, media and
information technology consultancy, corporate and product
promotions, radio and television productions as well as website
development services has as her Chief Executive Officer, an erudite
administrator, Mr Barth E. Emuekpere, a fellow of the institute of
Independent Marketing Management of Nigeria (FIIMN).
Mr Emuekpere’s experience in business spans over two decades in
management. A prolific writer of sort, he has contributed to many
local and international journals at various times. Started out as
Admin Manager of Modekcity Investment Limited, and thereafter he was
engaged as the operations Manager of then Orientrade International
Limited which today stands tall in the shipping sub-sector of the
Nigerian economy as Jaros Shipping Lines Ltd. This company has
successfully given birth to no fewer than four other flourishing
limited liability companies in various sectors of the Nigerian
economy.
Thereafter, he went into private business, and incorporated
Beetronix Limited, which was into the importation of Computers as
well as spares and accessories. Then again he incorporated Baron
Press Limited, which majored as a printing and related services
company. XCEL Media Limited is the third in the row of
companies incorporated by him. However, XCEL MEDIA LIMITED
has successfully made it international business debut with the
setting up of the company in South Africa as XCEL MEDIA SA (PTY) LTD
in 2008. |
